One of the questions we hear most is “where should I advertise?”. The right answer is not a platform name but another question: where is your customer when they need you? Channel choice starts with intent, then product, then market.
1. Start from customer intent
Some customers are already searching for you; others do not know they need you yet. The first group lives on Google — typing “roof insulation company in Riyadh” or “build an online store” — ready to talk. The second group is on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, where compelling content and a clear offer create the need.
- Urgent or high-intent services (maintenance, clinics, legal): start with Google Search.
- Visual or impulse products (fashion, beauty, F&B): Meta and TikTok are often stronger.
- High-value B2B: LinkedIn plus Google Search, backed by trust-building content.
2. Respect each market
Egypt is price-sensitive and responds strongly to relatable content and clear offers. In Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait, Snapchat has a strong presence among young people and families, making it essential for many consumer products. TikTok has become a primary discovery channel across the region.
3. Do not judge a channel by cost per click
A cheap click can bring an uninterested visitor; a pricier one can bring a ready buyer. The real metrics are cost per qualified lead and cost per sale. That is why tracking must be ready before launch — Pixel, Conversions API, GA4 — linking every lead source to its actual outcome.
4. Test with a deliberate budget
Instead of spreading budget everywhere, start with the one or two channels closest to your customer’s intent, with a clear test budget and timeframe. Within a few weeks the data — not opinions — will tell you where to scale and where to stop.
5. The channel alone is not enough
The best campaign fails if visitors land on a slow page, an unclear offer or a phone nobody answers. Ads earn attention; your offer, landing page and speed of follow-up turn it into revenue.
The takeaway
Choose by intent, product and market; measure by qualified-lead cost, not clicks; start small and scale what works. For a recommendation specific to your business, talk to the BEILYXO advisor or request a tailored plan.
